LinkedIn has updated its terms, and starting November 3, 2025, your profile data, posts, and public content will be used to train its AI models by default. This means your professional content may be used without explicit consent unless you opt out. Protecting your intellectual property, privacy, and digital footprint matters more than ever. You can change this setting in just three steps under LinkedIn’s Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Data for Generative AI Improvement. Opting out won’t erase past use, but it will stop future training.
